The Tamazula Group is a Mexican company founded in 1960 by Don Manuel Maciel Mendez. He launched the Tamazula brand of hot sauces, which quickly became popular throughout Mexico. The company then launched its flagship product, Salsa Valentina. This has become the leading hot sauce on the Mexican market in terms of production and sales.

The group’s factory is located in Guadalajara, Mexico, on an area of over 279,000 square feet. For such a large surface area, they decided to employ over 125 families in the region. The company also ships its products throughout Mexico, and has an international sales office. It is located in Chula Vista, California, and oversees distribution in the United States, Canada and other countries.

Product focus

The Tamazula Group offers a range of hot sauces under the Valentina brand. These include the iconic Red Label, Black Label and Blue Label varieties, each with its own distinct flavor profile. They have also launched a Valentina dry seasoning, perfect for seasoning fruit, snacks and a variety of dishes. In addition, the group offers a Seafood version of Valentina hot sauce. Capturing the authentic flavors of Mexican coastal cuisine. Although the company mainly serves wholesalers and distributors, its products are widely available in retail stores in Mexico and internationally.

Of course, the group uses one of our machines, a screwer/filler we’ve named the VS1000. It’s an automatic screwer that’s encapsulated, so it’s protected and can be adapted to any type of cork.
