Automatic dispensing DistriCap Automatic lid dispensing & placing machine

The DistriCap is a machine designed and manufactured by CDA. This system enables the automatic distribution and placement of twist-off caps on containers. The cap placement is done ‘on the fly.’ In other words, the DistriCap allows a capsule (or a cap) to be distributed first and then screwed in by a screwing module.

The DistriCap can be configured in two ways :

• Either with an elevator/a sorter/a distributor for twist-off formats,
• Or with a vibratory bowl, typically used for plastic lids. This process maintains a constant and high production rate.
  

This system comprises the following elements :

• A stainless steel storage hopper,
• A vertical conveyor or a vibratory bowl,
• A ‘on-the-fly’ cap/lid placement head,
• A sensor cell for detecting the presence of caps,
• A motorized lateral transfer belt.

The DistriCap can be integrated with different machines (or be part of a complete packaging line), such as :

• CDA’s automatic filling machines (such as the K-Net Auto or the K-Line S, for example),
  
• Independent screwing machines (like the VS1000).
  

The main strengths of this module are its compact size and easy integration into an existing packaging line.

Thanks to its versatility and reliability, the DistriCap finds applications in various industries, including :

• Agri-food,
• Cosmetics,
• CBD-based products,
• Natural products,
• Animal products.
