Tabanero Holdings, LLC was born out of the legendary entrepreneur Carl DeSantis’s desire. He wanted to continue making a difference in people’s lives. Even after retiring from his previous venture, Rexall Sundown, in 2000. While enjoying a vacation in Tabasco, Mexico, Carl discovered the remarkable hot sauces and spices unique to the region. He recognized a gap in the market back in the United States, where many hot sauces lacked flavor or were overly vinegary. Thus, Carl embarked on a mission to create the most flavorful hot sauce in the world. Partnering with local growers and manufacturers, Carl and his team crafted Tabañero Original. They have created a blend of Habanero peppers sourced exclusively from Tabasco, Mexico. Along with simple, natural ingredients like carrots, onions, and key limes.
